Heating and Cooling Supply and ACT Fulfillment, Inc. Announce New Distribution Hub Design
Heating and Cooling Supply and ACT Fulfillment today announced the co-creation of a centralized hub distribution network to serve the Heating and Cooling Supply 22 plus store network. The Inland Empire location of the ACT Fulfillment operation is ideally positioned to support the store and their high demand. The ACT location will serve the network as a high volume point for products and materials. The move will allow Heating and Cooling Supply, and the network to continue the growth of expansion forecasted over the next several years.
Heating and Cooling Supply , a division of Gemaire Distributors. Since 1969, Heating & Cooling Supply has developed and flourished into an HVAC distribution powerhouse. As one of the largest HVAC distributors in the West Coast, the joining of Heating & Cooling Supply with Act Fulfillment will provide the additional network capacity and controls required for 2021 and beyond. Although the plan is for an incremental start up, the benefits will be immediate in both capacity and cost control.
Heating and Cooling Supply recognizes the need to remain active with supply chain planning. Recently, the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) implemented new efficiency standards for residential furnaces, setting the minimum airflow efficiency requirement for such equipment, in order to reduce the consumption of electricity. Owing to such measures, the U.S. HVAC services market is set to grow from $25,625.8 million in 2019 to $35,714.5 million by 2030, at a 3.1% CAGR between 2020 and 2030, according to P&S Intelligence.
